Honda "Magna" VF750C2

Helping daughter's boyfriend with his first bike, 1997 Honda Magna 750. We're about to replace the front fork seals. I have the shop manual from Honda so I have all of the info I need on torque values, capacities, etc. but nowhere in the manual does it reference what weight of fork oil to use. Can anybody give me some guidance or recommendations on what may have been in it originally?

If anybody would know, I figure y'all would.

Thanks in advance!

"How often, in mileage or years, should the front fork oil be changed on my 1999 VF750C?
How much time should the job take at a Honda dealer?
10wt or 15wt fork oil?
Thanks in advance.

"From what I understand 10wt is standard for the Magna, I went back with 15wt myself. "

Maybe a good sounding board for other data you run into.

I said I never had much use for one.
Never said I didn't know how to use it."
