Great deal on a torque wrench.

I've been in the market for a torque wrench for awhile now. I've been looking at amazon.com at their cheap $30-35 wrenches, most reviews are good bit there's zero warranty or calibration sheet with it. (for when it was tested at the factory)

HD and Lowes both have torque wrenches that are pretty well reviewed by people, both offer life time warranties and the testing sheet showing that it really is within spec. problem is those are $80

however yesterday I was at lowes and sure enough their torque wrenches were marked down from $79 to $39! This is for the 3/8 the 1/2 inch is marked down to $59

I'm not sure if its a temp price drop or a new price, or maybe they are moving all the good units out to make room for a new cheaper tool. who knows, but for $39... it's a great price.

That is cool, and seems like a good deal.

I bought one of these a while back and have been happy with it. When checked against others, it's accuracy is also good.

Thanks! I've needed a new one; my other one doesn't always make a definite 'click', so have to try a few times to get the right torque.

That's a great deal! I might hit up Lowes to snag one up. Kobalt has a lifetime warranty as well

Also, order online and pad your order over $50. Coupon code 470000RRRR2997R takes $10 off an order of $50 or more.

For the Canadians around here, Canadian tire has 1/2" torque wrenches on sale for $100 and 3/8" ones on for $50. I picked up a 3/8 one today, 30-250 inch pounds.
