Gauge sweep out of sync?

Hello,

I have a 2006 919 that has a sync issue with the gauges? The speedometer sweeps before the tachometer does on power up? Any Idea how to re-sync them?

Thanks,

Norm

That does seem a bit unusual, but the only way to "fix" it is to replace it.

As long as the gauges are reading the same as before this happened (speed and RPM in a particular gear) it's not worth worrying about.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

Is this a "new" bike, or your bike that just started this behavior?

I know someone mentioned that there were bubbles developed on the tach surface, I'm wondering if the needle is briefly being caught on one of those before swinging through...

I may not have a lot to say but it doesn't mean I don't listen.

It was working fine (in sync). Now it acts just like the one in 'ariannasdaddy' video?

Whatever. Proper yapping would have been at least what, 4, 5 minutes?

He's a n00b.

You know, if you guys would just go the upgraded gauges route, like Koso or Tuono (ahem), you wouldn't have to worry if two gauges sweep in the same direction at the same time. And why did that last line come out dirty?

I got em. Just around the screws, but bugs me.
