Gas mileage on the NC700

Fuelly tells the story [graph here in US mpg].

Seems Honda has got the thrifty thing nailed here, if that's what you're looking for.

Yeah, I paused to take another long look at one on the showroom floor the other day. I like the styling. It could be the perfect commuter bike / weekend play toy. The only drawback I see is if you take it on a trip you'll have to unlash your dry bag from the pillion at every gas stop as the fuel filler is under the seat.

that is pretty impressive. I wonder what the mpg on the new cb500f is? I'm thinking about that as a commuting bike. I like the idea of the mileage on the NC, but I don't particularly like the styling.

I don't know that the same low-rev, high-efficiency design will be employed on the 500 range - they seem to be aimed more at the competitive Ninja 300-type part of the market place, where mpg may not be as much of a consideration...
