Found another one.....wrecked!

Found another toy, might have to pass on this one, it's a little spendy, $1400 for a wrecked 2001 cbr 600 but now that the GIXXR is almost done I have to find a new project

Offer him a $1000 maybe he will take you up on it. A good thing about it is that you can get parts any where pretty cheap. Can't swing a dead cat without hitting a cbr in the ass with it.

LMAO!!!!!!! thought I might offer $600 for a 600 he did say the impact was the rear end of a crv at 100mph that can do some serious damage, we'll let him sit on this peice of scrap metal until he gets desperate

Also found this little gem, '06 FZ6 but there's something fishy about it, boso is spouting some poppycock about the title being clean but he lost it and I can't figure out what he's covering on the stick this is a definate pass

I would definitely fix up that 600. If frame damage wasn't bad.

That is the less desirable early model 600RR. If you look at the forks they are standard non-inverted.

Still make a fun little project. I bet since the forks are the same diameter as 919/F4i you could probably run a 919 top clamp with MX bars.

Geez, are people just running their bikes into shit for fun in the northwest? I look at craigslist once a week or so, and rarely find any quality wrecks...

These fuckers are idiots man, im tellin ya! Just think about it.... One day a granola crunching hippie clad in Eco-friendly hemp clothing and riding a bicycle made only from recycled metal, walks past the Motosport store front in Hillsborro and spots a nice shiny new Eco-friendly looking green ninja 1000, he decides to donate the bicycle to the local charity and use some of his pot growing money to score this beautiful new kawi, I mean think about how much easier he could spread joy and love to his PETA and Eco buddies on that purdy new ninja, so he packs his twigs, berries, nuts and pot in the extra Givi bags he got the to throw in and set out, Free as a bird!!! That is until he realizes he grossly under estimated this innocent Looking, Eco-green, Land Rocket!!!!..... So as usual this moron plows into one of the zillion trees we have, or more likely one of the 2 Zillion Toyota prius's, and presto! We have a mangled ninja,cbr,gsxr,Zx,r1....etc....up for sale and ready to become my new project

Oh and the ninja crashing hippie? He now has to smoke the pot for the pain not just because it's Eco-green

Got cbr guy down to $1000, still to high for a fighter project, I've kinda set a cap of $750 otherwise they could be more of a pain than they're worth, classic example is my GIXXR, between 2000 and 2003 the parts are alot more spendy, like stator covers '00-'03= $100+/- go up one year to 04 you can get nice stock ones for $20-$50, same goes for the other way '99 on down parts are reasonable

Also found out cbr standard forks cost more than the gsxr's inverted, is well worth doing some research

Ha! I bet our friends to the North already have that set-up just waiting for retirement. I want one. To hell with snow blowing in winter!

I call dibs if Whiplash needs a wrench that sleeps in the garage, has his own leathers, then works for food and test drives on those machines!

Yes I do plan on building and selling, but I can house quite a few in a 40'x60' shop

I'll have to get g00gl3it to name them
