.... Are all fork oil brands the same?? [sport bikes]
Can you or should you use other products, than fork oil ??

Use a bonafide motorcycle fork oil.
Some is better than others.
Generally speaking, well known and respected brand names have good stuff.
If you want decent stuff, oils bottled under Honda, Suzuki etc will be fine.

maxima RACING fork oil is what i use, with good results (both in the dirt and street)..... the standard maxima fork oil however is cheap and doesnt last long.

Maxima Racing Fork Oils are among the very best.
