exhaust leak solutions

Hi guys,

I recently put on an aftermarket slip-on exhaust. I booted the slip on all the way onto the midpipe where its supposed to sit and clamped the clamps as tight as they can go but im still getting an exhaust leak. They slip on was a pretty tight squeeze onto the midpipe so I don't think I could get any type of sealer or wrap under there. The leak is blowing onto my leg practically. Any help would be appreciated.

You can use some sealant on the mid-pipe before slipping the can on. I had to do that to mine as well as I was getting very slight exhaust leak. Just black RTV sealant should do it.

What googleit said, you're supposed to use exhaust sealant.
