eBay chinese clutch cables - opinions?

Hey guys,

anyone ever buy one of these clutch cables?

thinking about buying one to keep as a backup.

i know you typically get what you pay for, but (suprisingly) a lot of these cheap Chinese parts are somewhat good quality.

An OEM is only about $25, but hell for a back-up I'd use one. Should work if it's the right length and all. They must fit a lot of bikes. I can't imagine that they would make them just for the 919.

Well, if your cable is starting to fray (like my 2002 is) I'd be more inclined to buy an OEM cable and use the old one as a back up. I'm in the camp that says you get what you pay for.
I bet the Chinese manufactured cable at $12 has more profit in it than the OEM at $25. But, who knows... maybe the OEM is also from China.

I'm using one of these from Amazon...
Amazon.com: Parts Unlimited Clutch Cable 22870-MCZ-000: Automotive

I've had it on for about 6 months and I'm happy with it. The stock cable that was on before broke and I had it repaired, but it wasn't operating smoothly anymore. I got this one because of convenience and price; no complaints so far.
