CRG mirror weight

Anybody know what the weigth of CRG Hindsight LS mirror and barend adaptor is? I want to change my stock mirrors and barends and was wondering if the change would help with the vibration by adding more weight to the ends of the bars. I tried emailing CRG for the info, but they never got back to me.

I have the Hindsight non-folding mirror and it's poking out 4 in. from the end of the handle bar.

The CRG adapter weighs next to nothing, a few grams at best. A replacement thick wall aluminum handlebar such as a Renthal will help but not totally eliminate the vibes inherent with a inline 4 cylinder motor.

I have some off brand bar end mirrors connected to a set of renthals and they have no vibrations. I replaced a mirror lens with a CRG lens and the CRG definitely has better glass.

My CRG's don't weigh enough to even mention that there is any weight. Good thought but I think you will find that there is really nothing being added in the weight department.

That being said, I have steel bars with no anti-vibe inserts or weights, CRG Blindsight mirrors w/CRG insert mounts... vibration in the mirrors is nonexistent.

Little confusing. Is H919rider concerned with mirror or handlebar vibrations? CRG mirrors are rock solid!

It won't help with vibration that you feel at your hands. If that's a concern, you might want to consider aftermarket grips and the CRG mirror mount / bar end weight / slider that RhinoMoto makes. Great service, great product. Love 'em on my 599. The CRG Mirrors are as steady as can be in and of themselves.
