cooling system flush...

I need to flush out the cooling system on my old Goldwing. I understand the procedure, but I have some oily gunk in the overflow tank that needs to get cleaned out so that I can rule out a head gasket issue... the tank itself can be detached and cleaned out with dish soap, but what about the rest of the cooling system? Does anybody know of a good product to flush out the radiator, etc, with?

My thought is that the overflow is the high point of the cooling system, which is why the gunk has accumulated there, but I'd like to get any of that out of the radiator and hoses, too.

What does a good radiator flush solution have in it, anyway?

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!
