Bike stand mod.

Did this yesterday after work. Not really a mod more of an accessory. Got sick of bike stand sinking in soft surface. Chopped out a 200lt (44gal) drum lid. Fits in my pocket and I just drop it on the ground and slip it under stand. Works a treat, even on grass. Beats finishing off a can and squashing it for a pad!

Nice!
I use a hockey puck that I ditched out with a high speed rotary tool.
The added height also reduces the lean so there is less force on the foot.
I stow it under the seat, noting I have a centre stand and use that almost exclusively.
