Anti-freeze smell from my 07 919

Hi all! Now at the start of this riding season, is everyone ready?
Our riding season in Florida never really ends... just slows down.

But to my question...the last few weeks after a ride, I'm getting the smell
of anti-freeze when I get home and shut the engine off. I have looked, but not found any leaks or wet spots anywhere. Any ideas where it could be coming from? I can find no drips under the bike... I'm stumped.
Thanks in advance guys. Happy Trails this season:yes:

edit: mileage is 16k...

I'd suggest that the next time you get back from a ride, when the bike is nice and hot, prop the tank up and look at the hoses around the thermostat and cap. Likely it's a hose clamp and you won't see any dampness unless there is pressure build up. It could be the radiator cap itself. Don't open the cap if there is any pressure in the system.
Have you been loosing coolant from the reserve tank?
When was the last time the coolant was changed?

I will check under the tank the next time I get back from a ride. Tightening
up a hose clamp would be an easy fix. I haven't noticed any coolant loss to speak of. I don't know if it has ever been changed but I'm going to flush and do it next week. Thanks for the tip Mark!
