919 Won't start :/

First day above freezing in awhile, I decided to try to start my 919.
Battery has been on trickle charger all winter, so not the likely culprit.
Fuel pump primes, and I hear a click from the 30a fuse area, I don't know what that is.
The engine turns over kind of slow.
Any ideas on why it wouldn't start?

Side note: I have the entire tail and seat removed currently, is there a safety mechanism that doesn't allow it to start with the tail & seat off?
Thanks!

Sort of sounds like a faulty battery.
Maybe your starter relay, it holds the 30amp fuse.
Do you have a power commander?

No, there's no trickery there to stop it firing

Amen to that!
My high school auto shop teacher was known as a hot shot diagnostics guy who left the trade to teach.
He made a point of pounding into us, to always start from the most basic position, then go up the ladder of complexity from there.
That plus never prescribe before diagnosing!

Yep I'm an idiot. My trickle charger quick connect was messing with the terminals, so I removed the battery, made sure it was completely charged, then put just the battery on the bike and it fired right up!

Excellent outcome!

Plus a bit of learning along the way - what could be better?

Late to the party, but I bet it's your battery.
