02 honda 919 turn signal help

So I'm fairly new to the motorcycle scene, And by new I mean I bought the bike yesterday. I bought it from my roommate And the previous owner Before him screwed basic rear blinkers to the side of the bike. All the wires are all jacked up and need to be removed. Its got one orange and 1 blue plug for the rear blinkers. I just need to know how to wire it from those plugs. Anyone have any ideas?

The orange and blue plugs are the stock wiring, so basically you can tap into those lines with any aftermarket indicators you choose. If you still have the plug from the indicator(s) then splice those into the new indicators and then you can re-use the stock plugs.

And Welcome!!!

Well the issue is that they're not working. It's the basic to wire plug, I'm just not sure if it needs to be grounded or not because where its screwed onto now it plastic.

Does not need to be grounded - are the front blinkers working?

Are they blinking fast? not at all?

You might have a bad relay. Are they LED blinkers?

The front blinkers work normally and they're all regular bulbs. All the wires are twisted together with tape so when I get home I'll re-wire them and test it out. Just due to the massive amount of wires I didnt know if anything else needed to be hooked up with those plugs. But if it doesn't need to be grounded then I'll wire them in straight. Thanks for the help!
