Which new turns signals for EDFD's Green 9er

Getting new front turn signals (rear ones are integrated in tail light).
I want them to match the lines of the bike (pointy/stealthy)
I like to think of a stealth fighter when I look at the edges on my fuel tank, so I want to think the same on the turn signals.
Whatever signals I get, I will get the black option.

In order:
Rizoma Action
Avio
Drop
Graffio
Zero
(hovering your mouse over the picture will tell you the name)

I left the option to select more than one, if there were two you just couldn't decide between.

One questions if you're paying for the brand... or are they really superior light-wise?

yes they are...i have the zeros on my 919 and my zrx...ive tried the cheap e-bay ones and they all end up breaking after awhile..to me its worth the little extra you pay for the Rizomas to have a product that will last...

Watsens...

If you can see em as running lights clearly at an off angle in broad daylight WHILE taped up and from a distance of more than 100 ft, I'm pretty sure they're bright enough

Yes they really are superior compared to the cheaper led crap. I have them on the rear of my 919 in case you remember seeing them.

I have the Zeros on the 9er and the tear drop on the Fz8 both very bright awesome quality. I considered Watsens but they are ugly and no longer offer the constant duty for running lights which was the only reason I would have gotten them.

I had the Zeros' break on me. Two of four. Sent them back and had them replaced, but they still broke. Right where the back screw enters the plastic.

I say go for the first ones.

When the first one broke, I thought it was just the placement of where they were on the back. Maybe caught a rock or something.

Wait what, ugly how?

As for the running light option, I agree it was stupid of them to remove this option. However I'm sure it can be modded to remedy that.

I have no desire to use my turn signals as running lights. Flashing signals only, so consider that in your decision.

A little surprised at the responses so far.

there's one dude who's running stock - but with clear lenses - looks awesome - forgot his name though.

I would go that route if I had to do it all again.
put some 'stealth' amber bulbs [eliminated the 'egg yolking' of amber bulbs and clear lenses] in there and you'd be looking good.

do something 'out of the box'.

**Edit** just saw your 'lines and edges' .. nevermind me.. carry on then..

i have had my 16 dollar a pair LED signals from ebay on my 9er for over 3 years n no issues.

I pulled the lenses off, filed down the tips of the leds to make them disperse the light better, as well as scuffed up the front face of the lens to disperse the light as well... the result is quite nice.

Stock blinkers... Just shorten the stock. You lose the saggy/droopy look and pull the indicators in for a tighter yet OEM look.

But if I had to choose an aftermaket blinker, I would have to agree with Pvster... Watson's are going to be bright and fit best with the bike. The ones in the pictures above might look like you have a 'blinker with a broken housing and it's just the bulb hanging out' look from a distance.

Don't mean to crush your cupcakes... but to each their own.

Not sure where you're getting the indication that the Watsens look like bubbles? They follow the mounting bracket and look more like a tear drop with a small glass lens. Blends in VERY well.

I agree with PV get the Watsens. They do look better on stock mount. I had them for a short time before I sold my 919. Black painted shell blends in nicely.

No where does it say they're out of business. Their webpage currently says:
Quote:
We are not taking any new orders at this time. We are currently manufacturing orders from the first two weeks of March and will continue to work through the existing orders as fast as we can.

The store will re-open for new orders on December 1.
I'm not sure if this is new or from last year since we have this thread: https://www.wristtwisters.com/forums/...med-32404.html

Someone should look into it and report back to us.

You're kidding right? They're handmade and built to order hence why there is a long turn around time. They are very high quality. I would say they're much higher quality than the Rizomas since I've had various issues with Rizomas and none with the Watsons. Others have reported issues with Rizomas but no one (at least from what I've seen on this site and others) has reported issues with Watsons. Other people on this site love them as well.

I was struggling to understand why you looked down on the Watsons so I looked them up on ebay and I spotted the problem. The silver ones that claim to be "Watsons" are in fact NOT Watsons. Those ones are actually cheap intimations and clearly failed (just look at the LED design for starters). The white ones that are listed as Watsons look to be truly Watsons and for Triumph so I can't confirm. The packaging, label, wires and LED units look legit though.

There are 2 major drawbacks though to the Watsens: 1. They're hella expensive! But damn they're worth it. You really do get what you pay for. 2. No running light option offered anymore. Otherwise they are fucking fantastic and blow the Rizomas out of the water.

I like the low profile look of the Watsens. That being said, I've got the zeros and like them quite a bit. Very bright forward and viewable from the side and a little from the back

*Edit- sorry, don't know why they saved sideways and please excuse the messy garage.
