I still wear the gloves I bought from him during the first group buy many moons ago. I think they were the legionnaires. I crash tested them too and they held up great and no doubt saved me some skin. Shame he couldn't keep it going.

Back when I had my SV650 and was active on SVRider.com, a guy there started doing custom leathers. Got good reviews on that board. Looked for him, and he's still active. Reasonably priced. Custom-fitted suits starting at $700. Here's a link:

Christmass is near and I thought I'd get some gloves for my brother. The Veloce gloves are my favorite so I have recently thought about Michael also.

Nuts... I was going to talk to Aquila about a suit. Part of the reason i found my way back to WT after a hiatus. I'm still lovin my Legionaire gloves. Lots of miles on them, and they are holding up great.

I still sear the group-buy gloves and like 'em.

The boot buy turned sour on him... as I recall, his supplier made his boot design available to other buyers. One of those other buyers bought ALL of their production, leaving Veloce (and us) swinging in the breeze.

I recently lost the gloves, left em on the trunk of the car the other day. The wife never saw them and off to work she went. Some homeless dude is probably wearing them now.

Michael had sent me and a couple other members a pair of the boots to test out before the final production run. They were ok but not as well made as the gloves. I loved my gloves dammit!

Hi Guys -

Yep... tis me. I have missed this board and all it's members. Sorry to those that were still interested in Veloce. I really appreciate all the support I got on that project, it just wasn't feasible anymore.

Funny thing is a ton of the concepts that came out of there were copied, imitated and what not. In a way, I guess it was a compliment to the quality of what we were doing. On the other, it compromised the brand.

If anyone was / is disappointed, I sincerely apologize. I put everything I could into that project but it was just not enough.

There are still a bunch of the Legionnaire, Primus and some other odds and ends from the Veloce line that need to leave the storage if anyone needs them. Throw any crazy offer out and cover postage and it's yours.

Other than that, I hope you are all doing okay. I have moved on to other things and even don't have a bike in the garage anymore. I really miss those days and they will always live with me.

One of the highlights was a 5 Star review in Motorcyclist magazine. It was nice to know I was not completely crazy in what I was doing.

You guys on here are an awesome group of people. Thanks for letting me realize a dream.

Michael

I will see what's left in the box. The Primus were dedicated Race Gloves.

Hiya Greg - Thanks a mill. I am hanging in there. I will see if there are any Larges left in the box. Do you wear large in other brands?

Thanks so much Stu. I don't know if I will have a bike again, acquired a few more injuries that might make riding an interesting experience. I could always get a cruiser I guess...

It's good to see familiar names again.

Saw you post up that you have some old-stock to offload. In the last 3 years I have been through 3 pairs of A*, and Taichis i bought 6 months ago are falling apart. I'm not happy with these companies. Considering someone put 84k on a set of Veloces, I would love to get my hands on a set if you have anything that fit. I wore medium in both A* and Taichi.

p.s. it would be nice to be able to PM you

I will need to figure that out, not sure why. I used to be able to get PM's. I have both men's and women's lying around. Wish I had come back on here sooner, just gave away a few gloves to some local friends.

Hi, Micheal
You sound well.

I wear a size 9.5 in Held and large in the legionnaire gloves.

I think you need to do an inventory.
I am sure you can move quite a bit of merchandise on here.
I could also use a pair of gloves, size small, for my daughter.

Thanks, Greg

You will probably do better with the Primus Race Gloves then. I will see what is left.

We were starting to diversify, so there are boots left, some all weather jackets, under armor (which I personally love), and some other things. I will check what's in the storage and let everyone know.

Hi There. Thanks! It's been a while... really good to see old faces on here. I will confirm what is left and post them up. I just need to get them out of storage so it will be very crazy pricing on them. The biggest challenge might be the colours.

Here is a review of the Legionnaire glove that has great pictures:

Here is a review of the Primus gloves from the same site:

Right now, all I can find are Medium Sized Legionnaire Gloves. There a couple of the Grey on Black, The Limited Black on Black, The Anniversary White / Grey / Black. 1 XL Primus Race Gloves in Yellow. Some women's Achillia Race Gloves in SML and X-SML, colours are White, Black and Red.

I will check on the other stuff like jackets, under armour, etc.

Here are some other pictures of what left in the storage. Some are profile shots.
