All of the Monoprice ones look pretty nice. I would get the biggest size that will fit in the area you want to put them. The ones closest to the size that I used are these (2" Wider):

Weatherproof Hard Case with Customizable Foam, 12" x 10" x 8" - Monoprice.com

Hope this works out!

Im getting Ready for the big buy and im really happy i came across this thread! really good info that i hadnt thought of prior.. my buddy runs a set of these axe bags from viking hes able to take them on and off in seconds basically.. they hold up well in light rain but they are not fully waterproof. This is ideally the sizing and price point i like so I think i just might. if worst comes to worst he did mention that they also came with rain covers so that puts me at ease, though i dont plan on riding through really heavy rain.. https://www.motorcyclehouse.com/stre...nd-accessories

Didnít realize I still have the dual exhaust and yours doesnít. Is it doable with the stock dual exhaust even if it it sit a little bit outward? Where did you go to get all the pieces for fabrication. I would love to do this for my bike.
