Vibranators

I sent the guys at Vibranator an email asking if they had a set that would fit my Renthal Road Mediums on the 9er. They siad the ones labeled for Buell 1125 would work. I placed the order 4 days ago, and haven't recieved any shipping info. The website still just says "processing". Just curious how long you guys had to wait.

Well, got an email today saying that they shipped 'em and giving me the tracking number. Checked and USPS says it will be at my house today. O, and btw, my tracking number ended with 919. So all in all it took 5 business days to get 'em. Not too bad. I'll post up a review once I get 'em installed.

So, I've been riding with the Vibranators installed in my Renthals for a couple months now and I am very pleased. The vibs in the bars are almost nonexistent. Compared to stock equipment this has been a giant improvement for me. Also had a mishap this past weekend when someone knocked the 9er over in a parking lot. The Vibranator bar end was scuffed up so I called Don at Vibranator LLC to see how much a replacement would be. He said he would ship me one out today for free! Excellent product and extremely excellent customer service.

Were they the thread in style or the rubber expansion plug style?

They were the expansion plug style. I asked about the threaded style, and Don from Vibranator said that those were more for dirt bike use. He told me to order the ones on their website listed for a Buell 1125 and specify in the comments that they were for Renthal Bars on my 919. No complaints here, they work great.

So has anyone figured out something to put on the ends of the threaded vibranators to make them look nice?

There's a way to put bar-ends on the vibranators. I had a set but never used them (went to fat bars instead). The instructions showed you can use them with bar-ends.

So you taped the end of the vibranator? I wouldn't wanna mess with the integrity of of thing, seems counterintuitive. There's already threads there anyway

I don't have the vibrinators yet, they'll be part of the whole RC51 front end exchange. I have the G2 bar end inserts in the Renthals, the thread in Vibrinators have an 8mm hole in the end of them(to mount hand gaurds) which is the same as the hole in the G2 inserts.

You asked what to cover the end of the bars with and I was just showing you what I use

Ah-Ha! beautiful. Thanks!

Although, the vibs have a hexagonal shape and a round bar end wouldn't look right to me. I'm going to try and find a nice 8mm bolt that mounts flat with a slightly smaller diameter than the vibranator.
