Vance & Hines 900RR Headers - is that a thing?

Hey guys,

ive been looking around for some 900RR headers to do the swap on my 919.

its tough... on eBay and Craigslist all im finding are rusted out banged up headers or aftermarket system for $300+

I might have found a set a state over from me. The guy says he has a set of Vance & Hines headers for the 900RR - is that a thing? I can't find a picture or listing for the Vance & Hines headers anywhere.

I'd hate to drive out there and find out theyre the wrong application. The guy is old school and doesnt use camera cell phones or a website (figures)

Any input?

I believe helimech was able to fit gsxr headers on his 919. Not sure if it was a 750 or 1k though. Options may be out there. Perhaps send him a pm.

The Gixxer header I had mocked up was close to fitting but needed some pretty serious modification to make it work ... I bailed on the project eventually.

I'd suggest at least getting him to confirm the model year. If they're made for the 918cc engine model, I don't know why they wouldn't work. I'm reasonably certain anything for a 96-99 900RR will work on the 919.

When I was looking into a 900rr exhaust for my 919 years ago I'm pretty sure I seen that Vance and Hines made headers for a 900rr. Came across them in a few parts catalogs. Double check with the seller to make sure though.

weird, i did email the guy in Canada but shipping cost made it a no-go.

so i checked out that vance & hines setup. i took my bike out to the guys shop. the pipes look legit.... the bends seem correct from what i saw, im an idiot for not taking a picture. stainless steel in mint condition, i gave him $100 for them. i had my bike so i couldnt take em back but im going to go grab em friday.

for what its worth he also had a black stock 900rr setup for $50 they look in about as good condition the one you posted from Ohio.

anyways i'll post some pics in this thread when i get the headers home
