Touch up paint alternative

After doing a little bit of research and trying to find a cheap way to touch up a couple nicks in the paint on my 07 Niner . I settled on this lacquer based nail polish and thought I would share it. At $8 It wasn't exactly cheap but I wanted something that would be a little bit more durable. Also it was difficult to find a good color match with some of the lower quality varieties. This color when mixed well also has that subtle shimmer of the stock paint. Its called "An Affair in Red Square" and it's made by a company called OPI. It was purchased at a local Target store. After having applied it I like how you can build up layers with thin coats and fill in the little dings easily. When mixed well the color is almost exact. Anyhow maybe someone else can find this useful as well.

Very cool. Any pics of the touched up areas on the bike?

Okay so as it turns out I'm not the best touch up painter so excuse me if it looks a little rough . However like I said I'm pretty happy with the color match. The tailpiece had a little nick just below the a on the radius portion of the tail section. Perhaps if there was a way to sand it a little bit the touch up would look a lot cleaner. It'll do.

you should paint your nails and toes with it to match the 9er. That would be hot.

Cover that with some clear. It will look fine for awhile, but uv does a number on polish. Do a google search. Itll match this week, heat n sun will change that quickly.

I may not have a lot to say but it doesn't mean I don't listen.
