Renthal Ultra low or Street fighter bend?

I am looking to replace the stock handle bars on my 07 919 and have narrowed my choice down to the renthal ultra low or the street fighter....just wondered if anyone had an opinion about either one? Im also having a fit trying to decide which mirrors to go with the new bars. Any suggestions or pics would be welcome...thanks a bunch

I would go with the ultra lows. I and 4 riding friends have them on the 9er and we all love them. They are more comfortable than the stock especially for long rides and look fantastic. I do not know any info on the street fighter bars.

Thank you scottjg i appreciate the advice which seems to be the majority consensus concerning the question....I have read similar answers on various forums and believe I will roll with the ultra lows...also thanks for the pics, nice bike by the way! I love the exhaust and the givi crash bars....as soon as I put the renthals on I will post some pics...I went with the hepco becker crash bars which I think look pretty good

I got the streetfighters on accident, they were sold to me as road mediums, and I never realized it until I bought a different color road medium and realized they didn't match!... I have no experience with the ultra low, but I would imagaine they are a bit more aggressive than the streetfighter. The streetfighter was a just a bit more aggressive than stock, but much more comfortable as the bend wasn't so narrow (if that makes sense) I really like the road medium too, but would have no problems switching back.

go wider! Dirt bike bars!

Now I have aluminum DB bars and removed the 'cross brace' for an OEM look.

Hey there Scottjg, minor highjack (sorry jon707) here but have you got a part number for the Renthal ultra lows from your sales receipt. My local dealership couldn't help me, Doh! PS yeah nice ride looks mean, back in black!

Ok, just found another thread with all the info I needed. Arshisb, did a great job on a spread sheet. FYI the Renthal site states nothing available for 919. Cheers, should have had a mothers look I guess!
