Paint chip

Does anybody have info on a color match paint pen or something. Ive got the red 07 9er. I found a chip on the top of the tank about the size of a pea. Any info or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Not cheap but this is the best place I know of to get it, unless you know a paint/body shop guy.

I saw in the other thread that colorrite uses a base coat, but is that needed to repair a small paint chip too?

Color Rite does indicate that a base coat #1075 is required, I don't know if it is a small chip if that's really necessary BUT (discalimer) I am not a paint tech.
Maybe someone here with some paint experience can help answer that one.

My local Honda shop says they have a touch up pen for $7.90. Dude claims its a color match with the clear built in. Kinda sounds sketchy. Thoughts?
