My take; Custom LED tail light

A very easy install. Read thru the directions a few times, look at the wiring harness to familiarize yourself with routing, etc. Label L or R and P (plate) on oem plugs with Sharpie for convenience.

Used the OL's craft glue gun. Felt kinda silly...

Used the provided crimp connectors.

Used multiple small zip ties to corral the wires. Tucked them up nice and neat. No pic, sorry.

I used the recommended flasher relay; drilled and mounted in removed relay's place. Plug and play. I kept the default 3 burst strobe for now. Directionals are smooth and all is bright.

The finished product.

How's the diffusion of the light? I got a cheapo one and unless its pointing you right in the eyes it's not very noticeable... I think I'm going to try to file down the tips of the LEDs a little to get some more diffusion.

I don't know of anyone inherent that has one and doesn't love it.
My current lens is red, and I'm thinking smoke or clear is gonna look better with the green.

2007 Honda 919.
Used to be Red, now it's Green. Open for name suggestions.

Yeah, they are bright as heck. That's the one thing I kept from my 919 when I sold it and put it on the 599. Well worth it.

I dunno, Tuono already has LED taillight, but that would be pretty sweet.

If a STEAL comes up, I'd buy a used one. Other than that, I gotta wedding / house to buy. Maybe when I get settled I'll buy a V4R
