Ive seen alot of cbr900rr header conversions on this site and I am going to do one to my 2005, 919. Has anyone done this with a stock header modified with a custom ss mid pipe and a "Can" of their choice? I am going to contact the guy who built my custom 2 into 1 for my Suzuki m109r and see what can be done. I think it would be much easier to modify the stock header. The performance difference from a cbr header and a modified stock one should be minimal. Any thoughts?
there is a noticeable difference from header to header the primaries on the cbr 900rr headers are larger my bike feels stronger throughout all rpm's than it used to and it got quieter when i did the conversion so it's not just the extra noise.
