I am with PV they look like Jardine's. They look nice though you should refresh them and keep them.

You could swap the cans to opposite sides to hide that crease/damage if you are mechanically capable of doing it.

I would just just....

- drill off the end caps
- dissassemble the cans and break them down into parts
- paint or vinyl wrap the main bodies
- reassemble with new packings & the crease on the R/H pipe inboard side so it's hidden against the bikes under tail.

Once you get the end caps off you could play around before painting, just to make sure the rivet patterns align .... plus you don't want to ruin the new paint/vinyl by handling them during mock up.

There are toms of youtube vids that show how to modify and tear down exhaust cans, its pretty straight fwd and a fun weekend project.

Helimech

Thanks for the heads up.
I was thinking about replacing the outer skin or just repositioning as you suggested.
I think that`s the simplest and cheapest solution as I do like the sound of the pipes.
They`re not obnoxious at all.

Thanks again, Dennis

No worries Dennis. Work with what u have, it should look great when finished.

If the rivet pitch/layout doesn't line up you can always just trim a 1/2" or so off the skins and baffles to shorten the cans. Then redrill the holes in the ckran skin ends.

If u need any tips or tricks just send me a PM with some pics and info i the snags/issues ..... I have shortened and re-skinned a few cans in my time. Good luck and have fun with it!

Ian
