Grab bar block off plate

I think I saw some posts on here about guys who made block off plates for the grab bar. Anyone still have those or know where to buy them?

Is there a DIY method?

I snagged a set off here last fall but that was the only pair I've seen listed here. Like Nick said try eBay.

I made a crude male and female plug out of wood and pressed a piece of speaker grill into shape and hot glued it in from the inside. They've held in place for almost 8 years now. The tail section seems to rattle a little, I think the grab bar helps secure it.

Ive found that grab bar is too useful to get rid of, its definitely saved me from dropping it a couple times. Another point to harness bags to as well. I painted mine black and that kept me happy with it!

That looks pretty good Carl.

I never really like the grab bar on my F4i and I'm still not wild about it. I'd at least like to give the block off look a go.
