Front and rear stand questions.

I'm going to be purchasing a set of stands here soon (rear spools, front triple tree style). So I thought I would just put a post out and see if anyone has any reccomendations, warnings or has spotted any good deals lately. Thanks.

I don't care what anyone else has to say about any other products

Pit-Bull stands are the best period and will last longer than your bikes, any other stands and even your own life.

I can say most stands that seem to be expensive (like Pit-Bull) are probably worth it.

Just don't get the crappy Harbor Freight one's!!!

I have a Vortex up front and Moto something or other in the rear. Both have worked fine for me.

I couldn't find any PitBull stands in LDH's garage when he was on vaca, so he must have left them at the shop. That's why I ended up with what I have now.

I have T-rex front & rear stands and they've been good for the past 5 years so far.

Cheap ass!!

Wait, I use a hammer to support the swingarm so the tire is 1/4 inch off the ground to lube my chain so it looks like I'm the cheap ass.

I REALLY need to buy a stand, I would consider a phobman but with the 900rr going on in a few weeks it would render me useless.

I do sell them, but it is not something I actively market. I keep a small stock on hand of the most common stands, but rarely do I have on hand what people want and by the time I buy them and have them drop shipped to the customer they could have simply bought them direct from Pit-Bull or from a shop that stocks much higher levels of inventory of them and come out with the same cost or cheaper even.

Just like I can kill anyone on Powercommander and Ohlins pricing because I stock thousands of each product and can afford to sell those items cheaper due to volume pricing, stores that stock Pit-Bull products or StompGrip etc can kill me on pricing for those items...

That's clever, but not even close to the league I'm in when it comes to concealment and subterfuge

My F/R are Pit Bull also. I always use the rear stand first and not the front stand if you have the type where the pin is placed in the steering stem.
