Fron LED Turn Signals

Hey guys, one month owner of 07 919 and couldn't be more happy. I already did a fender eliminator kit and the Rear LED Turn Signal Break Lights and couldn't be more pleased. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good front turn signal LED's as well if they require any wire splicing or modification. Pictures or idea's would be awesome!

I'll try to post some pics of what i've already done so far.

Thank you!

if google searched correctly, that'd be the clear alternatives unit. if it is, its garbage. please do yourself a favor and trash the unit! either go back to OEM or go with a CUSTOMLED unit (you can keep the smoke lens if you prefer). if you dont care about if people can see you while in front of them, then by all means carry on.

yes i'm strongly opinionated about this issue and many others will agree that the CUSTOMLED unit is a far superior unit. however, some may pipe up that they haven't had issues with theirs so it boils down to personal preference.

as for the front, you could look into some of the options discussed on the forum already such as rizomas and what not.

good to know, do they just have a more difficult time seeing at a longer distance? they appeared to be fine within 10-20 yards in daylight, and i don't think you could miss them at night. The LED lights seem to be pretty bright, perhaps you pulled up the wrong one? I didn't see anything in the box or labeling with clear alternative? it just says ..

Multi LED Tail Light with integrated Turn Signals
E-Mark certified to the highest European standards

I much appreciate the extra education on the matter though. Always great to learn from a more experienced person.

Click on my sig link for pics of the Rizomas I have on mine. They are bright and look great.

They don't function as running lights out of the box, but you can wire them to do so with some modification.

hmmm, interesting wasupsantacruz. i now maybe suspect that it might not be a clear alternatives unit but i cannot confirm since i cannot remember what the box said when i had it. i tried googling images of the box but i saw a different style than what i had.

is there a parts # listed anywhere?

the issue with the clear alternatives (and any cheaper grade LED light) is that they are very directional so they appear bright, but their overall wattage output is very low. when viewed off center, the light is much more difficult to see.

prove it..... post a off center shot with the sun on the light, and/or a off center shot in the dark from 50+ feet away.

Flush mount front turn signals for a 600RR. You will have to remove the connectors and add bullet style connectors.
