Fluid Level with Progressive Springs?

I know, I know, Linear are the shit, Progressives are crap... yes yes. I picked these up for $50 brand new, so why not give them a try? I've been riding the last few years on super mushy stock '03 springs, so these have to be some sort of improvement.

I'm 190 in gear (half the time with 50lbs of gear on the back) and don't ride real hard. lots of Mountain sport touring.

Keep the stock 155 or kick it up to 125mm? Thoughts?

go to 125mm ... i did when i swapped oil out in my forks a while back... made the stock 04 springs usable for my weight (165ish)

the extra oil height helps more so in the last section of travel than the first part so it helps out with bottoming somewhat.
