cree led

I just went in on a buy with my buddy on a set of cree led lights. The single light bulb set was more expensive so we purchased a set that was in the automotive section and came with two light bulbs and igniters . it was all plug and play and really only took maybe 15 minutes to install. I did have to modify the back of the light bulb housing by using the same inch and a quarter hole saw I used when I remove the baffles from the exhaust. Other than that adding an extra 5 minutes it was super easy. Maybe I hope I'm not missing something because I haven't seen anybody really discuss these on here and at $85 for the set shipped I think it was a great deal my part being 40 bucks and a Big Mac. The light beams are focused the same way our regular bulbs are and therefore it projects a light and is also rated: I believe a 2400 lumens so approximately double what are normal bulbs are. Also the light it produces looks more like an HID so it stands out a lot more from other vehicles.

We purchased our set from Ebay and paid a little bit more for the 2400 lumen. H4 is the kit you would need to request.

I did not order the set but and we bought in a pair to save some money because the single 2400 lumen can go for $75. So I believe it was something like this Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...273605&alt=web
They also have other kinds going for less like around $45 just have to snoop around.

That is pretty cool. I guess the little fan sticks out of the hole?

The fan barely fits in the stock bucket however I decided to cut a hole to help with the air circulation since it was going to be a tight fit. There might be some bulbs that arev even shorter and this will not even be a issue.
