Bars - Pro Taper

So I'm in the market for some Pro Taper bars, and I'm leaning towards these:
Amazon.com: Pro Taper Contour 1-1/8" Oversized Handlebars - Pastrana FMX/Jet Black: Automotive They seem very similar to my Road Mediums I've got now, with the exception that they are fat bars, and from what I can tell are alittle flatter. I'm looking to get the bars alittle further back and up just a tad, without having to get new cables. What's ya'lls take on my bar situation, suggestions?

I have a spreadsheet I made a while ago when I was looking for my "perfect handlebar" I compared the stock dimensions with most of the Renthal & ProTaper offerings.

Shoot me your email & I will send it to you. Unfortunately I cannot attach it on the forums. Perhaps Goog can put it on the WTT share?

This should help you compare. Note that most 1 1/8 handlebars are shorter than stock.

Seems pretty close to stock, albeit a little taller. What are you trying to achieve with this swap?

Vib reduction and just a little more height and maybe pull back. With the adaptors adding 3/4" I figured those bars might work well.

Not saying they won't work but dirtbike bars present some problems. One, less pullback, two, wider clamping area and, three, less control length due to #2 and dirtbikes don't have switch housings.

I'm sure plenty have been used, just saying....

Seems like it might work but the pull back is lesser than stock so not sure how you will gain anything there. I for one didn't want pull back & that's why went with the CR high.
