Bar end signals

I was wondering if anyone had installed bar end signals to get rid of those horrible stock signals. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=231007084794
Do these have any vibration issues? One of my bar ends broke off when the PO dropped the bike on the side so I figured it'd be a good mod.

Good question. I've never looked into the bar end blinkers. Could be interesting.

My only issue with a lot of these type of things is that they generally are not quite visible enough to completely replace the signals in their factory location. I've tried some that are built into mirrors and what not but I always come back to the incandescent lights because they end up being more visible. I'm not arguing brightness mind you, just that the larger pods of the OE type blinkers just seem to be overtly more visible to me. I could be mistaken though. I know I have been looking at getting some of the rizoma ones that were listed on one of the more recent polls, but of course that is more or less replacing the ones in the OEM location. I would like them to be out a little farther overall though, I do know that.

I feel the same way, I'm a little hesitant to buy them because I'm not sure how far out they'll stick out or how ill got my bar end mirrors on them.

Not to mention, where you going to tuck the wires? Drill the bars?

I wouldn't, but that's my 2 cents.

Well I was going to order some renthals to replace the stock so wouldn't I have to drill holes anyways?

Do Renthals come pre-drilled for the wires to exit somewhere? I'm assuming these would come out near the cluster pods, or at least that seems the logical place to route them. Anything further puts you near the top triple and then you have to deal with having enough excess wire to give movement from full lock in either direction.

Ya it just seems like it'd be too much work for not a lot of gain. Probably just get some decent front turn signals and call it a day.

I like the daytime running lights on the 919. I wouldn't consider replacing the factory pods.
