7/8" to 1 1/8" handlebar conversion

So I was wondering if anyone has swapped their original 919 bars out for a renthal fat bar ? I was looking into getting a set of fatter grips and someone suggested going with a Ficker handlebar. Does anyone have a list or know of the components needed ??

The Fatbar has the same diameter ends as any other handlebar (7/8). It's only 1 1/8" in the middle portion. So not sure that would help.

Really ?.. Then that "upgrade" seems pointless... Oh well. Guess I'll get some Thar Bars while they're still available. *smiley*

The point is ..... thicker center section will flex less and give better feel, similar to a x-brace on a 7/8" bar.

I apologize. What I meant was, it would be pointless for me if the goal was to get a thicker grip.
