599 and 919 fit

Wondering if a handlebar clamp for the 599 will fit my 919....

Do they have the same top triple tree?

I want to use this...

I think G00GL3 still has both unless he sold the 919. A couple of quick measurements and you'll have your answer. Pm him

599 is about 3 3/8th's inches between posts, center to center. 919 is almost exactly 4.

They are not the same ...

if you have any question of parts compatibility (as far as a direct swap) use ron ayers "where used" function once you get the part number you are looking for. That doesn't mean that things won't swap if they don't return, it only means they don't use the same part.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

Is the 1pc clamp just for looks or does it have an advantage over the 2pc?

Just powdercoat the top triple and handlebar clamps.

It's not too hard to take off the top triple. Much easier than the lower, and you can leave the forks and wheel on, just have to have a front stand.
