You and the cops

I certainly can't be the only one who gets pulled over on my bike. Anyone else take pictures? Lets post them up here. I'll start.

You might want to give this a second thought. Not all cops are going to react in a positive way if you start taking pictures (legal or not, it won't make any difference).

They might not if you can see their face but if its mostly the car, I don't see a problem with it. No I didn't rob a bank. Lol. A cop chased me five miles threw town and couldn't keep up. I didn't even know he was behind me. He radioed ahead for backup. There's actually one more car there that I couldn't fit in the pic. :P
Anyone else?
Nice video nd4! Did you get a ticket?

how did you now see him behind you? were lights n sirens going?

I got off lucky that day, the cop was very chill, respected the fact i owned up to what i did, had all proper gear and paperwork and wasnt doing what i did on a busy day. He just told me to go play on such and such canyon where we (the cops) dont patrol. haha

Nice! Being honest helps when talking to them.
He did not have lights or sirens on. He never got close enough to get my plate number either.

Being honest around here will get you a lengthier ticket. I've given up trying to feel out which cop is going to be a hotshot and which cop you can talk to like a human being.

I've been pulled over 5x in 2012 with 4 being on the 919, all resulted in a ticket. I may be biased.

I've only been pulled over once in Washington State. Yup, ticket. Here it is.

That was the craziest ride I've been on up until that time for sure. It was definitely a ton of fun, although after that my ticket rate seemed to have multiplied... Oh well

The funnest would be the week-long trip to OR, NV, and CA. 20m long full throttle runs through the desert! Lucky to only have gotten 1 ticket on that trip at Mammoth Lakes.

I've only been pulled over once 53 mph in a 35 zone. The cop checked my record and let me go with a warning ...no pictures.

Getting pulled over, for supposedly doing 40 in a 25mph school zone - YouTube

Sorry for the poor audio, one of my first videos shot with a Contour Roam. I swear I heard sirens, I checked my mirrors and saw the lights, assuming he was going after someone else I pulled off. I was surprised when he didn't pass by.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

It was shortly after some kind of building at the turn of a ridge. This was the opposing view from where I got pulled over if it means anything

It is but considering the place is broke and squeezing the life out of any possibly revenue, I would suggest keeping hooliganism at bay til you're out of Mono County. With that said, at least the officer was one of the few I've encountered being himself. Still gave me the ticket but at least wasn't an a** about it. Even gave me pointers on where to fill up gas before hitting the next length of nothingness

Did you get in trouble with the cops again?
Last summer I was caught by a photo radar doing 158
in an 80 zone. Km/hr that is. Mandatory court appearance.
600$ ticket
I only got pulled over once in a cage, multiple times on
my bike.

Do yourself a favor. If you get pulled over, forget about whats legal and not, just do what the guy says.
If you don't, there can be a very wide range of responses, and most of them aren't pleasant.
