set the sags and get correct springs for your weight, then play with the adjustments to get it how you like it.
The best mods you can do to any bike is set the suspension up for your self, better tyre wear, better grip, better safety,.
good luck and enjoy

I'd start with the tires.

Garage
I've got a somewhat banged up Jardine pipe for $80 shipped if you want it. You'll need to plug up the o2 sensor port though since your bike doesn't have one.

It probably depends on what you want to do with the bike. Like what others said, do set up the suspension first for your weight. A lighter and smaller exhaust, lightweight battery when u need a change, fender chop, drop front a tiny bit, get a tank pad, grips, tires, etc. I got those foot peg risers from ebay. Turn signals. Sky's the limit. Are u in san Diego ca by any chance? Oh I also heard those cct's go bad but mines fine with 12k miles.
