Since there wasn't a ratbike category

I snapped a couple shots of this bike on my ride home from work today. What could it have started out as?

I like the outward facing exhaust. The owner must like shaking up the nearby cagers!

Wow, that has to win some kind of prize! Tractor seat mounted to what looks like an ammo box from the Army surplus store, bungie cord mounted fuel tank off a ???, cool utility vehicle headlights, and of course those pipes. Awesome machine, give the guy props for originality!

Can anyone tell us what that started life as?

Ammo box looks to be battery storage.

It's better to have loved and lost than live with the psycho for life!

yep, that's what I figure...kind of the electrical control center of the whole machine, think of all the relays and control boxes that live under the seat of a normal bike.

That reminds me of most used bikes for sale. "clean title!"

Love that universal gas tank! I'd like to see it split lanes with those wide pipes!

Its got three carbs and air filters under the front seat, which someone should recognize?

Thank you tbone! Hey the bike was so clean don't know how I missed it.

I'm guessing FJ1300 before the accident totaled it, bought for scrap and frankenstein transformation.

Looks like a Yamaha FJ1100. At first I thought 1200 / 1300, but the wheels are an earlier style. I wonder where he carries the boards it's perched on while riding.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

C'mon man! Those slide right under the bungee cords used to tie down the fuel tank.

I love it! Speaking of the gas tank though, anybody else notice that the gas cap is a drain stopper!

It hit me last night what that bike is all about, it's obvious now...

It's the creation of a young Amish man, created in the barn during his "wilding" period, used to cruise around and try to pick up those hot worldly Mennonite girls down the road!
