RIP Cliff Gullett 239mph!

http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slu...=afp&type=lgns

Quite amazing Cliff made 500cc go that fast! Anyone know details? Obviously he knew the risks and loved what he did. Sure hate losing any two-wheel brother. But probably better to take the final trip on the serene Utah salt flats than on the I5 under a semi.

RIP CliffG; Thank you for the vicarious thrills from your insatiable need for speed!

so it was a 2stroke 2 cycle 500cc engine that did 239mph? If thats the case I want one. It must have been extremely modded.

I couldn't agree more. Some day his grieving family will come to this realization... but not any time soon.

No comments necessary, it speaks for itself.

Godspeed Cliff.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

Great video Rob!

Cliff was amazing! I can't get over how low and long his bike was!
RIP Cliff! You chased your dreams and inspired us all to do the same!
