Bimmer means, well, never heard the term, lol...

According to Urban Dictionary "often confused with beemer",

2009 Aprilia Tuono - Ginger
2006 Honda 599 - Wanda
2007 Honda CB900F (click for pics -sold)
2006 Honda VTX 1300C (sold)

People who aren't into car/motorcycle culture and/or history will often call BMWs cars and bikes 'beemers'. Like when people mispronounce Porsche.

One of my pet-peeves is when actual BMW owners call their cars 'beemers'. I just smile and let them keep jibber-jabbering usually.
Same deal with people misprounouncing Porsche.

it's all good though

you are correct sir:

Bimmer - proper accepted slang for BMW cars. Most people don't know this.
Beamer/Beemer - proper accepted slang for BMW motorcycles. You will hear this term used incorrectly by many people.
Bummer - When you get a speeding ticket.
Bitter - Another German car. Very rare; hand built
