RC tires at the Harley shop.

Long story short, the Harley shop changed out my tires on my wheels because all the sportbike shops wanted $150 and they only $50 W/tax.

I rode the bike, felt kind of funny, the handling. I checked the tire pressure. 46psi cold in both tires. Yikes. Remember to check that crap. Those guys must have just looked on the tires and saw where it said 46psi max(cold) and went with it.

Got a set of skins for the truck. 285 75R 16. Load range D, not E. Guy ran the pressure to 70 PSI. Max supposed to be 65. Wondered why the truck fishtailed when I whipped the back end around

That is where I get my tires changed as well. They only charge me $26 and tax to mount and balance a set vs. 4x that at the dealer, and they don't scratch the hell out of my wheels like the dealer will.

Guys, the best place to get new tires is at your local club races. Just take em off, take them there and they will moutn and balance for free as long as you buy tires from them. The tire prices are usually cheaper as well.
