Qty. 4 919s

Quantity (4) 919s together in the parking lot of The Dock restaurant in Leavenworth, IN today. Me, Sniper, CMurphy and tvetree. Had a Kawi with us too.

Worthy note:
It doesn't matter what you order, they'll bring you whatever they want.
The best you'll get out of the seldom appearing waitress is "Sorry." If you're in a hurry that's too bad. They aren't.

The good thing is, they have no clue what you actually got when you go to pay your bill. No wonder so many Harley riders show up there and drink. You could have a case and pay for 6 beers.

I hit two interstate shutdowns on the way home. Managed to route around both of them.

Funniest part of the day:
Stopped at a gas station to get some water about 15 miles from home. Two other bikes there belonging to a couple. I was coming out of the store and rubbed my eye, causing my contact to fall out which I immediately stepped on.

Guy asked me "You okay?"
Me: "Yeah, lost my contact. Allergies have been driving my eyes crazy."
Him: "You want my glasses to get home? You're gonna have trouble seeing."
*Damn nice of him to offer and he was really serious about it.
Me: "No. It's for close up reading. I can still read the odometer and stuff, just can't make out real fine print."
Him: "You sure you can see? Look at me, can you see me?"
Me: "I'm good. You look just like Tom Cruise."

Her: "You'd better take the glasses."

Gave her a high five on that one.

I made it home. I still want that other burger they owe me. Next time I'm there instead of ordering I'll just say..."bring me whatever you feel like."

Good to see you again Jim and Rod. Nice meeting up other members. Next time we should ride around some. Rod and I went running around some backroads. I don't have pics of everything, but we went by the Shoe Tree(s), some caves, over a bridge way above some tracks carved into a hill, and a small set of falls.

Here are some pics...
