Oh wow, that's great to know!

The bike's gonna need some work. The battery's dead, although it was relatively new prior to storage, the carb floats are gummed up, and the fork seals need to be replaced. Other than that, the owner is tha same weight as me, so the Race Tech'd forks and rear suspension is already setup for me!

I haven't picked it up yet (not till Fri or Sat), but my good friend knows the guy and has vouched for him. I gave him a $300 deposit till he gets the paperwork in order, then evrything will go through.

In the meantime, he gave me the plastics (nose/bellypan/rear cowl/windscreen), about 5 or 6 nos brake/clutch levers, an electronic lap timer still in the box, a set of wheels (front & back), a pair of front calipers, 2 pairs of front rotors, 1 rear rotor, a Service Manual, and a few other things I'm sure I missed in that box!

btw, I haven't told the wife yet but she does know I've been looking for another enclosed trailer for my storage needs, which would save me $75/month for the storage rental !!

Man what a deal Rob! That is sweeeet! I wanted to call you so bad when I saw this come up but then he said it looked like it was committed pretty quick. So I thought well no chance for Rob. Well it must have been you.

I'm signed up for a track day at GSS on Sept. 13th?

I think I'll fix it up and get it track-ready, then take it to the track a few times to make sure all is well... then sell the bike. (At least that's my story to the wife, hehehe....). Besides, I do want a Honda. This bike is an all out race bike, completely set-up and ready to rock!

Man that is a nice deal providing the bike still has power in her... even if you have to rebuild the motor you're still sitting pretty good.

I think I'll come out ahead no matter what! I bet I can flip this around and sell each seperately and make a few hundred bucks in the process. I can probablt sell the trailer alone with an asking price of $2k (maybe get $1.8K), then the bike for at least $1500.00, plus all the extras (stands/lap timer/etc.)

Well, I picked it up today! This is what I got...

Along with these extra goodies!!

2 Ramps

Tyr Sox

Miscellaneous Stuff

Basicly, a nicely set up trailer with everything listed in the first post! Looks like I'm gonna have to get on the Track a little more often!!

The bike indeed needs some work, though.
I guess the right front caliper was leaking, and the brake fluid basicly soaked into the front tire (or so it seems).
The battery's dead, but he said it was new, so maybe I can just recharge it?
The carbs are probably gummed up, but the bike ran perfect prior to storage. Hopefully just needs to be opened up and cleaned out... or maybe just run Seafoam through it (I hope moreso).
Would be nice to re-paint it, but not really neccessary.
The fork seals are not too bad, but I probably oughto replace them.

Other than that, it seems just fine for a basicly free racebike!

Sweet. My sister lives in Houston. She said you can store it at her house for free. Just leave the key to the lock on the trailer and it's all good.
