I'm looking forward to some good rides in 08 as well. I ended 2007 by going for a short 50 mile ride today.

Happy New Year to all!

After many years and many dreams I have realized my goal of riding in all 50 states!

Now the rest of the world!

Every now and then go away and have a little relaxation. To remain constantly at work will diminish your judgment. --Leonardo Da Vinci

****!!!!! I didn't make it through '07 unscathed, I crashed today, emergency two finger front wheel brake manouever, tucked the front and dumped me unceremoniously on the deck, quicker than you can snap your fingers. I think I separated some ribs, and skinned my knees, but apart from that I'll be looking for some parts next week. I hope you all have a very merry new year and don't do what I just did!
Love to you all!
Peter

Sorry Phobman,

I did the same thing to my DRZ 400 earlier this year. Whiped me to the ground like snowboarder catching an edge. Now i'm covered in scars and it has taken more than 7 months to regain full motion of my shoulder. I was getting worried, but almost fully recovered now... quick recovery and best of luck to ya in 2008.

Just now seeing this thread as I was in Times Square for New Years. What an amazing time!!!! New York was awesome!!! I truly hope that this year brings positive growth and happiness for everyone. Life inevitably will throw us curve balls, that's a given. But we have the power to choose how we will let it affect us and whether we allow ourselves to diminish or grow from our circumstances. I wish each of you the very, very best! Happy New Year!

Sorry for the late reply. Just now seeing this. Nope, didnt want to wait 2 1/2 hours!!!! Everywhere you went was wall to wall with people. But, it was well worth it. I wasn't too interested in doing a lot of different things, I just wanted to experience NY, walk around, and take in the sights. It was awesome!
