It'd be weird not hearing anything as someone zips by on one of those.

Expensive, slow, and has a poor range before needing a charge. But I guess it's not made for the back road cruising... Still cool.

That's cool for city use, well except for the price... If everyone buys one then next year it will cost the same as a ninja-250R...ok you first.

That could be huge! If they sell enough units to bring the cost way down it could totally change urban travel. That could be what the Segway was supposed to be.Every tree hugging, granola crunching, Prius owner will have to finish out the stable with one.

The only problem with 'plug-ins' is that the electricity has to come from somewhere.

In our state, it's nuclear, trash burning and coal fired back-ups.

Not very green. Thankfully the state is execptionally flat and the pollution just blows away (most days).

Kind of like those screw in flourescent bulbs. Were supposed to save all this energy for a greener planet... nobody mentions that they're hazardous waste. Mercury is a nasty thing to dispose of. I think it is actually against the law to throw them away in Florida.

Nuclear power really is the only option, like it or not. It's the only way to produce that much power with so little fuel.
We can then power rail guns with the over abundance of nuclear generated electricity and take pot shots at the moon and neighboring planets with the spent fuel. It's a high tech 'zip' gun!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I for one like the look of the little electricon.

that's a neat idea also but the odds of that coming to fruition are low.

Brammo, on the other hand, has the resources to make their bike come to life and get it out on the street.

Yep, looks like Brammo is leaps and bounds ahead of the ENV. Just too bad it has such a short range.

45 miles @ 25mph

does that mean 22.5 miles @ 50mph (top speed)?

Nice clarification!
Since aero energy use increases exponentially I'd guess the 50mph range is closer to 15ml. But for in city use that would be fine. Maybe they should add bailout pedals too...like my first motorbike!

I got that email from Brammo about a month ago. they are offering test rides in select cities.

Recharging through a 110V outlet is nice. But the range has got to increase for these things to be worth a look!

I LOVE Tig Bitties!
