Everything you ever wanted to know about oil for engines.

And then some...

This has to be the most in-depth site dedicated to oil that I have ever seen. They even have a forum dedicated motorcycle oils. Cool stuff.

Oil Testers

These guys are really heavy duty riders, 3,000 miles a year. Man, they must not have the addiction, I feel bad if I miss a day.

Wow, read some of the threads and these people make us look sane (if that is possible). I guess there really are dedicated sites for the anal retentive side in all of us.

I was looking into reading even more but I was having a little trouble getting past some of the abbreviations.

DAM!!!!!!!!! Guilty!

I highly recommend a UOA (Use Oil Analysis)... It can tell you a lot about your oil/motor/gear box/air filtration conditions for example..

Also with a UOA, you can get a gauge as to how well your brand/type of oil is holding up based on the km/miles/time you are putting on the oil between change intervals, and if needed, lengthen or shorten your oil changes for examples..

I love the Bob is the oil guy site, been going there for years whenever I have oil questions. I am a 100% believer in good oil. If I was a millionaire I would run 300V in everything!
