Bridgestone BT-016

anyone here run this tire yet? I almost bought pilot road 2's, then decided to save $100 and go with these instead, a bunch of people from other forums claimed good results.

Anyways I'll let you know how they feel.. though I've had the stock bridgestones on my bike since I got it and not been dissatisfied, my standards are probably low

The sport bike forum I'm a member of raves about these things. A relative with a 600rr just bought a set last night and should have them mounted by the weekend. I've heard they are just a cheaper alternative to the Road 2s.

At SWMOTOTIRES.COM these are the current prices including shipping for 120/70-17 and 180/55-17...Pilot Road 2 - $310.90 - BT-016 - $256.90. $54 difference.

I would hope they are better than the BT-20s - Horrible, horrible tire !

Iv got the 016's on my 08 zx10R, i love how they make the bike feel, price is good, longevity not that good, i dont do burnouts or wheelies & the rear is only going to go about 2500 miles, the front looks pretty good still

You know I didnt realize this was an all out sport tire, in fact I thought the whole idea behind the multi compound was more for getting some better life out of a grippy tire, lol..

I'll probably bite the bullet and pickup some PR2's after I break these in and see how they feel at least. Maybe Ill hit the track one day, they would come in more handy then wasting away on the street in 2k miles.. lol.
