Let's not forget the MT-01...

I'd like to read a comparison between the MT-01 and the Harley XR1200R

damn, why don't they sell everything everywhere? I'm sure it has to do with each country having its own laws/rules and it's not worth meeting if they don't think they will sell enough but damn. I'm sick of seeing cool stuff we don't get, well I'm not sick of seeing it, I just wish we could get it.

I Don't try to explain to people why I ride a motorcycle

Two very cool bikes that I completely don't understand why we are missing. Bet if people started seeing these on the streets here in the States, sales would start to pick up for things besides cruisers and sport bikes.

On a side note, what's up with that shock on the MT-03? Looks like someone photoshopped a shock on the side of the bike just for grins.

you don't have the MT-01 in the US? We can't sell them in Canada. It's more than likely the $17,600 price tag for a stock machine...

We got them both in Denmark for a couple of years now, but are wery seldom to see on the street's !
They are not exactly the discount of the day.........
MT 03 : 12670 $
MT 01 : 36210 $
both are stock prices

Wonder why Yamaha don't put at least the MT 03 on the market in USA, a true XR1200R "killer"

That's really where the shock is on the MT-03.

The MT-01 is pretty cool but I'd wind up tearing those big grippy panels off the frame just ahead of the seat and putting something like stomp grip in.

I don't think it sold that well here, besides the price it was an oddball. Lots of dress up parts like a cruiser but not the exact look most folks want, and not sporty enough for R6 folks.

People I know who own/owned them were the guys who really wanted a different bike, jumped of a BMW K1300R onto the MT for example.
