WOW!

Living in the Malibu hills I've seen just about every sportbike ever built, but yesterday I saw one of the rarest -- a Honda NR 750! That's right: oval pistons and all. I had to pull over and look until the light at Mulholland changed and he took off. GOD I LOVE IT HERE!

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

Sure; rub it in Rob. While some of us are clearing snow and chipping ice you are riding and getting a rare opportunity to look at a NR750 up close.

There's one of those at the Barber Museum.

They have security cameras.

Still cool! Still cool!

But not as cool as the RC-30 Santa promised he'd put under the tree for me this Xmas!!!

Of course when I said RC-30 what I meant was Fruit of the Loom underwear. Bright red ones with blue stripes.

Man I wanted one of those So.......Bad.
What did it sound like? I never even had the chance to ever hear one!
I'm really surprised it's still running.
Big pat on the back for getting the opportunity to see it.

Repair? A Honda? You're kidding, right?
Actually, it was so much quieter than the herd of sport exotica trying to soak up some of that technology by proximity (Ducatis, a couple of MVs, a BMW K1200 S, and the usual Japanese sportbikes with way too loud exhausts) that I couldn't specifically hear it.
As for following it to drool further, I was in my truck at the time with a load of groceries, so keeping up was not an option. Darn. Trust me -- as soon as I got home the 919 got a good 2 hour workout.
