Who Rode to Work Today?

I did!

Beautiful forecast for the next three days, 80 and sunny! Rode the XRL today, looking forward to taking the path less traveled on the way home.

A blistering 44 degrees when I rolled out of the driveway this am, no wind, no clouds, no rain. Supposed to be 68 this afternoon.

I don't ride to work so this thread is not for me. <why isn't this guy Balaclava swords? cuz I wore mine today 45* picking my way around the two lanes. 15 more degrees would be nice.

I let the dogs out this morning and thought to myself.... It's a good day, the weather man was right for once and I'm riding to work today. Went back in, got ready and suited up, Hit the garage door opener and would you know it... It was flipping raining! It is about 45 degrees and spotty rain now, I HATE the weather here!

Other than 4 or 5 times a year I take my truck because I often have customers with me. There's days when I see someone going or coming from work and think "I wish I was them. It's a nice day to commute." There's other days when traffic is at a stop and it's 90+ degrees out, it's raining, or some other situation and I don't regret it.

Today was one of those days I would have loved to ride.

I think the whole eastern US is socked in with pollen. My buddy in Atlanta sent me some unbelievable pictures of it on cars there.

This thread is about riding to work though. Did you take the Sherpa to work? Or just fun?

Thanks! She is 9 and has been asking to ride for some time now. My 11 year old daughter won't ride though. I think she is embarrassed to ride with her Daddy or she's tool cool to ride...Who knows She's at that age now, turns 12 in June.

As far as my 9 year old, I have a feeling she will be asking me to ride all the time now

Don't be a sissy. Bring an extra helmet and tell them to hang on. Hopefully you get a decent looking chick customer, not some ex-Superbowl looking beast of a man hugging you from behind.
