Throttle lock

I'm not trying to be a PITA by starting new threads but i know someone else out there has this and can provide some first hand info on it , sure would be nice to have cruise control on long rides .
RL Motorcycles

Would this be worth the price? or is it more difficult to use than it's worth?

I've seen a couple examples of these, and they seem pretty decent. I haven't ridden with thcrampbuster...it wouldnt work with my bar end mirrors. I have a different kind of throttle lock (similar to the Vista Cruise) and also a crampbuster.

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

The Kaoko cruise controls from TwistedThrottle seem to be a sweet design.

I checked the web site but they don't have a set devoted to a 919

I have the Throttlemeister, heavy version, and LOVE it. High quality, a little PIA to set it up properly but worth it IMO.

.......they're a fairly universal design. Especially since most of us are using Renthal bars. They do however make a version for the 919....it's pictured on a 919 in their catalog.

I've owned several versions of the Throttle Meisers....and personally I never liked how hard it was to grip and set the throttle lock.....I like the engage wheel of the Kaokos.

Funny thing.....I don't even have a throttle lock on the 919 right now......my $7 crampbuster works beautifully.

Throttlemeister on the '03 and it works well for touring. The '06 has bar end mirrors, so it is a no go for a TM. It has a throttle rocker instead.

Ya know.....someone needs to come out with a throttle lock that has the cut out for Bar end mirrors..... They'd sell a ton of them.
